RETURN POLICY

General
It’s our goal to make supporting artist projects and buying original art a truly enjoyable experience and we believe that this includes a return policy. We are confident that once you have the art in your home, you’ll be happy. However, if you are not thrilled with your purchase, we will provide you a full refund within 7 days. In the case of returns of artwork that did not arrive damaged, you will be responsible for return shipping, including secure packing, insurance, taxes and customs fees (if any). Please be sure to retain all of the original packaging and materials that arrived with the art.

Degrasse LLC serves strictly as a platform to connect buyers and sellers and serves strictly to facilitate the purchase of artwork between buyers and sellers. The artist is an independent contractor and therefore any and all disputes must be resolved through them. Degrasse LLC shall not act as arbitrator or take sides in any potential disputes. Any disputes as to the received or return condition of the artwork, refunds, or any other issue relating to promotion (on the site or otherwise) or sale of the artwork, shall be resolved between you and the artist, according to the terms and conditions listed on this website and applicable state or country laws.

Step 1: Within 7 days: If you have already been in contact with the artist please contact them first. If not, please contact us to put you in touch with the artist (Please write “Return Art” followed by order number (i.e. Return Art: 54363) in the subject line.

Once you contact the artist they will then arrange for the return of the artwork(s) in a timely fashion. The artwork must be returned in the exact resealable condition as it was received to receive a refund. In the case that the artwork arrives back to the artist damaged, unsellable, or is lost, a refund will not be given. If said damage or loss is due to the return shipping carrier, then an investigation must be started such that their insurance covers the damage or loss. The artist must keep all the packaging and photograph the damage. If, after investigation, the carrier is deemed not to be responsible, or if you did not insure the artwork, you will not be refunded. If the carrier is responsible, then you will receive a refund after the case has been settled.

Step 2: Once the work is delivered and there are no disputes as to the eligibility of the refund, the artist will contact us to issue you a refund. Requests for a refund of the purchase amount should  be made to us by the artist within 7 days from the date your art was marked delivered to the artist by the carrier.

Damaged Deliveries
In the unfortunate event that your purchase has been damaged during transit, please contact the artist, along with details and proof of damage via digital snapshot, to resolve any issues within 5 days to rectify the situation. Please be sure to retain all of the original packaging and materials that arrived with the art. Once you contact the artist, start an investigation with the carrier. If it is deemed that the carrier was responsible, then either the artist will then issue you a prepaid shipping label, or you will be reimbursed by the artist for shipping the artwork back to them upon agreed upon terms, carrier and rates. As Degrasse LLC acts only as the facilitator of the sale, the artist shall be responsible for return shipping, including secure packing, insurance, taxes and customs fees (if any).
